Nestled In Masai Mara Reserve In Kenya, There’s A New JW Marriott Lodge. Details Inside!

It is no secret that luxury safari properties offer exceptional nature-driven experiences to their guests. Their ancillary conservation initiatives are worth talking about as well. If you’re eyeing a stay inside a luxury safari in Africa, now you can expect to find more than just the traditional jeep-led experience now. For reasons like that,  JW Marriott makes a grand debut in the luxury safari segment with the JW Marriott Masai Mara Lodge.

Stepping Into Luxury Safari

Travellers are now seeking to have their safari priorities redefined to seek privacy in accommodation and on drives. JW Marriott Masai Mara Lodge aims to fulfil that. The lodge is located in the Masai Mara National Reserve, one of Africa’s most prominent regions for wildlife and nature conservation. Guests can enjoy guided game drives that occur between June and September.

Kristina Zanic Advisers has elegantly designed the lodges by blending the savannah’s touches with soft, warm tones, and native colours. It has 20 private canopies, including a honeymoon suite with a private plunge pool and two suites ideal for families with children above six and over.

Connecting With Nature

The JW Marriott Masai Mara Lodge has been designed to foster meaningful connections with nature and oneself. Additionally, the adventure lounge is full of books to get lost in and the cultural deck is a gathering place where guests can partake in tales and stories. Guests can enjoy treatments at the Gym by JW, which incorporates original botanicals and curatives, including the ‘Masai festivity’ treatment.

The JW Garden is an out-of-door space where guests can discover homegrown, organic constituents, from dishes to mocktails. It is located at the heart of the camp. The theatre hosts programming, including live cuisine, interactive blend mixology, and cook-led addresses. Their Sarabi restaurant offers both inside and outside dining experiences using constituents from the JW Garden and original culinary heritage.

The lodge’s community provides a space for meaningful connections. That includes The Maa Trust, an association that works with original people by promoting small business launches. Its platoon is made up of 60 locals, with plans to reach 70, helping in the development of the region.

By supporting original associations, like The Mara Elephant Project and The Mara Protector Conservation Programme, JW Marriott Masai Mara Lodge contributes to saving the creatures and their niche across the lesser Mara ecosystem. A lot of sustainable suppliers were used for the property’s construction built by experts overseen by specialists.
