Here are the hottest new restaurants to check out in Dubai this July.

Bringing the charm of Kyoto to Dubai’s Al Wasl, Kumo is housed in a transformed 1980s villa that blends traditional Japanese aesthetics with contemporary style. Created by the founders of SALT, this peaceful dining destination offers a ‘grounded Japanese’ experience focused on seasonal produce, refined methods, and shared, tradition-rooted dishes. The interiors feature earthy wooden tones, gentle finishes, and shoji-inspired details, creating a warm and calming space. Kumo invites guests to enjoy thoughtful Japanese cuisine in an environment of quiet sophistication and simplicity.

China Tang, the acclaimed Cantonese restaurant from London’s The Dorchester, has opened at The Lana Promenade, part of the Dorchester Collection in Dubai. Featuring Art Deco style from the 1930s Shanghai era, the menu showcases signature dishes like Sir David’s Hot and Sour Soup and Beijing Duck, along with Dubai-exclusive offerings such as Honey-Glazed Beef Char Siu. With over 25 years of experience, Chef Li Zhenjun combines traditional techniques with modern flair. Located by Marasi Bay Marina, guests can enjoy spectacular views of the Burj Khalifa while savouring classic Cantonese fare.

3. Jardin Des Arts

Jardin Des Arts, a new dining experience at The Address Montgomerie, beautifully captures the essence of Provence. 5. Umi Kei
