Dubai Mall has taken a significant step towards modernising its parking system by introducing new parking fees, utilising Salik technology. As of mid-2024, visitors will experience a seamless parking process with fees automatically deducted from their Salik accounts. Whether you’re a frequent visitor or planning a weekend shopping spree, here’s what you need to know about the new parking fees at Dubai Mall.

Starting mid-2024, Dubai Mall will implement a hassle-free parking system. Using vehicle plate recognition, the system will automatically charge the parking fees directly to your Salik account. This innovation aims to simplify the parking process, ensuring a smooth experience for all visitors.

Here’s the breakdown of the new parking fees:

Weekdays:

0 to 4 hours: Free
4 to 5 hours: AED 40
5 to 6 hours: AED 60
6 to 7 hours: AED 80
8 to 12 hours: AED 100
12 to 24 hours: AED 500
Over 24 hours: AED 1,000

Weekends (Friday to Sunday):

0 to 6 hours: Free
6 to 7 hours: AED 80
7 to 8 hours: AED 100
8 to 12 hours: AED 200
12 to 24 hours: AED 500
Over 24 hours: AED 1,000
These fees apply to the Grand Parking, Cinema Parking, and Fashion Avenue parking areas. However, Zabeel and Fountain Views parking areas will remain free for now.

Exemptions and Special Cases

Not everyone will be subject to the new parking fees. The mall has outlined specific exemptions to accommodate various needs:

People of determination: Individuals with disabilities are exempt from all parking fees.
Public service providers: Police, ambulance, emergency response vehicles, and Civil Defence vehicles are exempt.
Valet drop-offs: Vehicles dropping off guests using the valet service will not incur parking fees.
