Jeep & Safaris Will Be Shut In Kaziranga National Park On The Days Of The Utsav

As the national park in Assam is hosting the Gaj Utsav 2023, there will be no jeep safaris and elephant safaris available on 7 and 8 April 2023. Visitors travelling here in these 2 days will not be able to get access to these thrilling rides while exploring the verdant greenery inside the premises of the Kaziranga National Park.

According to a report by The Times Of India, India Times, Assam is now home to the second-most population of wild elephants in comparison to all over India. Not just wild elephants, this Northeastern state also has so many elephants that are staying with local people. Such a huge number of these animals staying here for years and decades is one of the reasons to choose Kaziranga National Park for the Gaj Utsav 2023.
