The UP International Trade Show will be officially opened by Droupadi Murmu, the President of India. The trade expo will take place from September 21 to September 25 at the India Expo Centre and Mart in Greater Noida.
The state of Uttar Pradesh will be represented by more than 2,000 exhibitors who will display their goods. Additionally, the “Hall of Town of Export Excellence” in the International Trade Show complex will feature crafts from UP’s 12 cities.
The exhibitors will come from a variety of industries, according to the organisers, including agriculture and horticulture, the defence corridor, e-commerce, banking and financial services, education, infra, engineering, and manufacturing, the film industry, food processing and dairy products, GI tag products, and handloom.
In addition, there will be representatives from different industries, including those related to handicrafts, textiles, tourism and hospitality, the toy industry, warehouse and logistics, and women-owned businesses.
Officials stated that to promote One District One Product (ODOP), in addition to organising an exhibition, a suitable business-to-customer (B2C) channel will also be created.
This will allow customers to place orders for the products directly with the craftsmen.
