NZ Couple Demands Airfare Refund As They Were Seated Beside A ‘Snorting Farting’ Dog

Travelling on a flight is mostly an amazing experience but the journey can get unpleasant because of co-passengers. Many people often experience bad flight journeys due to annoying passengers. Something very similar happened with a New Zealand couple recently but they were not sitting beside any human. Instead, their co-passenger was a dog, and the fluffy flyer kind of ruined their trip.

Gill and Warren Press boarded a Singapore Airlines flight from Paris to reach Singapore after a journey of 13 hours. They booked premium economy tickets from the airline and were seated beside a passenger with an emotional support dog, according to a report by The Independent. The dog was allegedly snorting, farting, and making different noises during the air journey. Their seat area was getting smelly and the dog was even coming close to them and getting inside the wife’s legroom. The husband’s leg was getting covered by the dog’s saliva too.

The couple even asked the cabin crew for a change in their seats. Unfortunately, the only available seats were right at the back of the economy class. So they continued their journey sitting at the premium economy next to the emotional dog.

They were on their way to New Zealand from Europe back in June, according to a report by Stuff Media of New Zealand.

Mrs. Press later sent an email to the customer service of Singapore Airlines. In reply to the mail, the airline offered the Wellington-based couple a gift voucher of NZ$200 for the shop of the airline. But the couple was in no way happy and satisfied with this. Instead, they filed a complaint stating how they faced terrible experiences during the 1-hour long journey. The filed complaint was against Singapore Airlines and it mentioned details about their horrible experiences because of the emotional support dog snorting and farting beside them. They have demanded a full refund of their tickets from Paris to Singapore.
