He immediately rose to fame after taking home the gold medal in the javelin throw at the 2020 Summer Olympics. Neeraj Chopra Shared His First-Ever Flight Experience

He discussed how smoothly things are going in his life and how much better he is able to concentrate on his sport. It was undoubtedly an amazing journey, but now that he is famous, he is greeted by admirers everywhere he goes. We were interested to learn his thoughts and strategies for handling the same. Neeraj Chopra acknowledged the attention he is receiving and added that most of the people who approach him are other athletes who look up to him.

Neeraj shared his interesting experience of travelling via a flight for the first time. When he was flying to Ukraine for the World Youth Championship in 2013, it was his first time on a flight. The entire time, he and his friend kept looking down at the clouds through the window. The thunder and lightning during the flight made it a more memorable experience for them.

Neeraj Chopra discussed with us the value of mental health for athletes. He argued that each player needed to pay attention to both their physical and mental health. Being asked to represent the nation on such influential stages undoubtedly carries a lot of pressure.

We also asked him about his sources of inspiration. It appears that he regularly streams performances by Czech athlete Jan Zelenzy, who has a javelin throw world record of 98.48 metres. In addition, he mentioned that he never got to play with or meet Jan Zelenzy because of his retirement.

He went on to discuss his travels, his future plans, and lots more that you absolutely must watch!
