3. Old Bengaluru was always about idli, vada with comforting coconut chutney. To date, some darshinis like Brahmin’s Coffee serve only coconut chutney with their snacks. Don’t expect sambar!

7. The honey cakes and dilkush at Iyengar bakeries are so comforting and delicious.
Once upon a time Iyengar bakeries didn’t make egg puffs ,used eggs for cakes . The iyengar bakeries made the dilkush,toast and dil pasand famous (if you don’t know what these are head now to a bakery) . The Mallu bakeries all over town made the best egg puffs #Bengaluru #trivia
