A SpiceJet flight took off from Delhi on Sunday to reach Tel Aviv. It was a SpiceJet A340 aircraft and it was flown under Operation Ajay launched by the Indian government to bring back the Indian citizens stuck in war-torn Israel during the ongoing intense conflicts. The flight, unfortunately, faced a technical issue and had to be flown to be taken care of and rectify the problem, as reported by several sources.
SpiceJet Flight Flying Under Operation Ajay Has Been Flown To Jordan
The wide-body Airbus faced a technical snag after making the landing in Tel Aviv on Sunday. The flight flew to Jordan later so that repairs could be conducted. Jordan is the nearest country in terms of having proper facilities to take a look and rectify the snag, according to a report by India TV News. Sources shared details about the SpiceJet flight detecting an issue on Monday. The airline has not made any comment on the sudden snag faced in the operations of the aircraft in Tel Aviv.

The plan was to bring back a group of Indian nationals from Tel Aviv to India with this SpiceJet aircraft. Sadly, the plan saw a change after detecting the technical issue. Once the problem gets rectified in Jordan, the flight is going to fly to Tel Aviv first and then return to Delhi.
It has been 2 days since the unexpected technical snag incident. There are still no updates about the flight as of now.
Operation Ajay Recently Evacuated Hundreds Of Indians From Israel In Its 4th Flight

The primary focus of the operation of the Indian government is to rescue the Indians from Israel in between the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict. On October 15, 2023, the fourth flight of this operation returned with 274 Indians from Israel. It took off from the Ben Gurion airport of Israel at 11:45 PM local time and it landed at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi. It was the fourth flight under Operation Ajay and also the second one in one day.
As of now, the Indian government has brought back a total of 918 Indian citizens from Israel. The first 3 flights returned to India with a total of 644 passengers. The first flight under Operation Ajay carried 212 Indians, followed by 235 Indian nationals on the second flight, and 197 Indians on the third flight. The fourth flight rescued 274 Indian citizens and they landed in New Delhi on the last Sunday.

Operation Ajay started its operations of flying charter planes to evacuate Indian nationals from war-torn Israel on October 12. Citizens who wish to return are coming back to their homeland under this spectacular operation by the Indian government.
Four flights have already rescued hundreds of individuals. More flights are about to fly to Israel and bring back thousands of Indian nationals stuck amidst the current intense situation in Israel.
