Hollywood stars, too, are eager to indulge in some late-night food following a work-related event, just like us. The only difference is that the Academy Awards is the work event, and the snacks at the after-party will be extremely elegant. A little different from a bowl of instant ramen but still in the same vein! Let’s take a look at everything on the menu at the Oscars 2025 after-party.

The Governors Ball, the official Oscars after-party, has been catered by celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck for 31 years. A-list celebrities attend this VIP event, and it seems like they love food and a lot of it! There are more than 70 different types of canapes on the menu, Puck told Good Morning America.
One of the menu’s staples is the Oscar statuettes of smoked salmon, which are served every year. Smoked salmon is chopped into the shape of an Oscar, layered on a matzo cracker, and topped with caviar to create these cute appetisers. The menu features several traditional foods, such as chicken pot pies and cheddar mac and cheese, in addition to the edible Oscars. Of course, there are also inventive and entertaining variations on classic recipes, such as the ‘Bougie Tots’, which are tater tots covered in caviar.

The menu features an array of indulgent small plates, including a Smoked Salmon Oscar Matzo, Miniature Wagyu Cheeseburger, Spicy Tuna Tartare, Truffle Chicken Pot Pie, and Miso Cod Lettuce Cup, among other savoury delights. For those with a sweet tooth, the patisserie selection offers elegant desserts like Pina Colada Oscar Silhouette Éclairs, Vanilla Chai Tiramisu Verrine, Peach & Elderflower Marbled Macarons, and a Bourbon & Caramelized Pecan Paris Brest. With a mix of luxurious flavours and playful presentations—including statuette-shaped eclairs—this menu is designed to impress.
The 2025 Oscars Governors Ball menu showcases Asian influences, featuring dishes like pad Thai noodles infused with garlic, ginger, and a touch of champagne for an elegant twist. A standout offering is the Miyazaki Wagyu beef, renowned as Japan’s most premium beef, served alongside wasabi potato puree and truffle ponzu sauce—a harmonious blend of Japanese and European culinary traditions.
