Global hospitality leader OYO has unveiled a significant milestone with the grand opening of its first luxury hotel in Dubai – the Palette Royal Reflections Hotel and Spa. This strategic move comes as OYO prepares for its initial public offering (IPO) and seeks to broaden its portfolio with high-end properties across the globe.

OYO targets a boom in Indian tourists visiting Dubai with its new luxury hotel. Dubai’s relaxed visa rules are seen as an opportunity. This initiative aligns perfectly with OYO’s wider strategy of solidifying its presence in the premium hospitality sector globally. Notably, there is a particular focus on the lucrative Middle Eastern market.

OYO already enjoys a well-established presence in the region, boasting over 700 operational properties across the UAE, with more than 200 situated in Dubai itself. This strong foothold positions OYO to effectively cater to the influx of Indian tourists. India continues to reign supreme as the leading source of tourists for Dubai, with a staggering 11.9 million visitors in 2023. This is followed by Saudi Arabia (6.7 million) and the UK (5.9 million).
