If you are a fan of Pakistani music, you might have listened to songs of the Zeb-Haniya duo. Haniya Aslam, a part of the famous musical duo Zeb-Haniya, passed away on August 11, 2024. Zeb Bangash confirmed the news of the singer’s unfortunate demise on Instagram. The music world is deeply saddened to hear the heartbreaking news. The news came as a major shock to many, especially fans of Haniya and Zeb’s captivating music.

Coke Studio Pakistan-fame singer died of a cardiac arrest reportedly. Zeb expressed her grief by sharing a few old photos of Haniya on social media and captioned “Hanini 🎶✨♥️.” The pictures show beautiful glimpses of their memorable journeys together, from their childhood days to recent days. From playing to working on music, they have been together forever. Haniya was not only Zeb’s band partner but they were also cousins.

Netizens are heartbroken by this tragic loss. An Instagrammer commented under Zeb’s post, “May all the memories you’ve spent together making magic forever be your cherished ones. Keeper of each other’s secrets. Sending you a lot of love Zeb. I cannot imagine the sense of loss you’re feeling. May she rest in eternal peace. For where there was Zeb, there was Haniya.”

Not just in Pakistan, Haniya and Zeb’s musical wonders have a fanbase in different parts of the world too. One of their most loved performances is Chal Diye. They gained immense popularity after performing this song on Coke Studio Pakistan.

Haniya pursued different degrees overseas. She studied in Canada, the UK, and the USA, according to Youlin Magazine.
