Pancham Puriwala at Fort is an iconic place in Mumbai that sells a lavish spread of food at yesteryear prices.

What Is It?

Pancham Puriwala at Fort started in 1840 & is even older than CST. Known to be one of Mumbai’s oldest restaurants, it still sells yummy food at yesteryear prices. It serves the original poori bhaji that was  first served when the restaurant started. It was 4 annas back then & costs ₹40 today! If you love the authenticity of North Indian food, this joint is a must-try!

We love the Pancham Royal Thali (₹250) – 5 vegs + 4 masala puris + Kadhi + Paneer Pulao + Dahi Vada + Chaas. We also tried the Kheer and Badam Lassi out there and simply loved it!
