It’s a new day, which means a new fusion dish for Instagram foodies. While some videos of Oreo Maggi, Chocolate Pakoda, Mexican Dosa and tens of others are brutally criticised, this recipe seems like a scrumptious innovation. A food blogger, Bismillah Rasoi, shared an Instagram video of a paratha filled with Kissan jam. The video garnered love from Netizens and made them reminiscent of their beloved household snack — paratha with sugar.

The food blogger shared the recipe for the jam-filled paratha with a short snappy video. A lady is seen teaching the recipe by rolling the dough first and spreading a lot of Kissan jam on it. She then folds it into a square, like we would for any usual paratha. Next, she rolls it into a square paratha and fries it on the pan with a spoonful of ghee.

A crispy red-coloured paratha is ready to be served in just a few minutes. The recipe is reminiscent of everyone’s favourite breakfast when we used to have paratha with butter and sugar.

This paratha recipe has received love from many people. While many social media users called it a unique and amazing recipe, no one on Instagram is spared from criticism. Netizens commented that filling jam in a paratha was unnecessary. They instead recommended serving plain ajwain paratha with jam alongside. The video has gained over 5,000 likes.
