Charles De Gaulle airport is undoubtedly one of the busiest airports in the world. And with the upcoming 2024 Summer Olympics, Paris is all set to host the grand Summer Olympics. The preparation has already started in full swing as the France capital just reopened an old terminal of the Charles de Gaulle Airport before the Summer Olympics. It is easily understandable that a huge number of sports lovers from different parts of the world will usher in Paris.

Paris Reopened The Terminal 1 Of Charles De Gaulle Airport

Terminal 1 of the airport is surely an iconic terminal. Aeroports de Paris is an international airport operator and it manages the Charles de Gaulle airport. The operator spent a humongous amount of around $263 million to revamp Terminal 1 and get it decked up to welcome global tourists during the 2024 Summer Olympics. The renovation of the 48-year-old terminal took over two years and after a grand makeover, the doors to it finally reopened on 3 December.

Edward Arkwright is the ADP Deputy Chief Executive Officer and he shared the deets of the redevelopment on the day of reopening, according to a report by Hindustan Times. The more than 2-year-long project not only focused on the infrastructural development of Terminal 1 of Charles De Gaulle airport but also added an extra space of 36,000 square metres to make the journey of the passengers convenient.
