The Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has made a significant change in its online bus ticket booking system. Starting from 5 September 2023, all the passengers can book their bus tickets on a brand-new platform. With the launch, users can use a new website and a mobile application for their tickets. The all-new website is https://www.onlineksrtcswift.com/. The decision to migrate the process to the latest platform is because of the contract between KSRTC and AbhiBus, according to a report by Onmanorama. AbhiBus played the biggest role in managing the online reservation process of Kerala State Road Transport Corporation. The above-mentioned contract is going to expire on 30 September 2023.
The single platform for online ticket booking officially starts today to provide its services and help users with booking their bus tickets. But before this, from May 2023 to the end of August 2023, the platform operated as an experiment and trial to evaluate the capability and effectiveness of its services and functions. All the bookings of tickets for KSRTC Swift buses were ongoing on this platform. As the experiment went well, the authorities decided to allow the new platform for the booking of all buses.

A great advantage of the latest platform is the efficiency of operating for refund requests. It is said that this system can help in preventing the delay of processing this kind of request.
There Is A Mobile Application As Well
Passengers can easily complete the ticket booking procedure on an app called Ente KSRTC Neo-OPRS from now onwards. Users can install it from both the Play Store and App Store. Booking tickets are all set to be so much easier and more convenient.
