Dubai’s first-ever Paw Power Challenge is coming to Expo City on Saturday, 5th April 2025. This exciting event is a special obstacle race designed for dogs and their owners. It will include fun challenges like water crossings, climbing, sliding, and jumping. Both small and large dogs can take part, making it a perfect event for every dog lover.
What is the Paw Power Challenge?

The Paw Power Challenge is a 2.5km obstacle course created for dogs and their owners to complete together. The race will test your dog’s speed, agility, and teamwork skills as you both work through different obstacles.
Dogs will need to climb ramps, jump over barriers, splash through water, and navigate tunnels. The goal is to complete the course as quickly as possible.

There will be four race categories to make sure all dogs get a fair chance:
- Mini and Small Dogs (Under 10kg) – Individual race with owner.
- Medium and Large Dogs (Over 10kg) – Individual race with owner.
- Team Race – Small Dogs (Under 10kg) – Groups of up to six people with one small dog.
- Team Race – Large Dogs (Over 10kg) – Groups of up to six people with one large dog.
The top three fastest dogs in each category will win prizes.
What Else Can You Expect?

Apart from the race, the event will also have a mini festival for everyone to enjoy. Visitors can find:
- Food and drink stalls
- Live music
- A children’s play area
- A pet market selling toys, accessories, and treats
To keep the dogs happy and healthy, there will be paddling pools to cool off, and experts from Pet First Veterinary Clinic will be present to assist if needed.

The event runs from 4:00 pm to 11:00 pm, with the main race starting at 6:00 pm.
Entry fees:
- AED50 per team entry
- AED100 per individual entry
- Free entry for spectators
Dog owners can register online at the Paw Power Challenge website. Registration closes on Wednesday, 2nd April at 11:59 pm, or earlier if all places are taken.
