The Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India urged passengers not to overpay to the travel agents for the Vande Bharat Mission Flights. Passengers must pay the fares as mentioned in the Air India website. Travel agents should not charge more than the specified fares from the customers. Also, as per the latest notification of the Ministry of Home Affairs on Unlock 3, international flights, other than the Vande Bharat flights, will remain suspended till August 31, 2020. Some international flights had operated in India in the last half of July, under the air bubble arrangement. India’s first air bubble flight flew from Delhi to Washington on July 22, at 1:15 AM.

The Civil Aviation Ministry said on Twitter, “Passengers booking tickets for #VBM flights through travel agents, may please note that they should not pay more than the fares mentioned on the Air India website. The Vande Bharat mission began on May 7 in a bid to bring lakhs of stranded Indians back home. Over 900 such flights have operated till now. Many passengers complained that they had to buy their own tickets at an inflated price.

No International Flights Other Than The Vande Bharat Flights To Operate Till August 31
The Ministry of Home Affairs recently issued guidelines of Unlock 3 in India, where it stated, “International Air Travel of passengers has been permitted in a limited manner under Vande Bharat Mission. Further opening-up will take place in a calibrated manner.” The new MHA guidelines will be in effect till August 31, 2020 and the international flights too will remain suspended till then.
Vande Bharat Flights Operating In August
Air India has informed on Twitter that it will operate additional flights between India and Canada from August 4 to August 17 2020. Also, the national carrier will operate flights between India and Paris from August 7 to August 15. Booking for these flights will start on July 29 at 8 PM. on the Air India website.
