Are you worried about robots taking over your jobs in the upcoming few years? With the advancement of technology, new inventions, and the inclusion of AI in most sectors, the job market looks scary at times. For now, you can relax as this adorable device is not here to steal your job. Do you know there exists a tiny robot whose sole purpose is to do ‘fu fu’ and cool down hot beverages and drinks? Well, now your full-time job looks more worthwhile contributing to, right?
This Mini Robot Is Making Headlines For Doing ‘Fu Fu’ On Drinks
You can soon get your hands on a mini cat-shaped robot that will save your tongue from burning while sipping hot drinks. Too fancy, right? Yukai Engineering, a Tokyo-based company, introduced this interesting yet strange concept at CES 2025. Launched in Las Vegas, this little invention’s biggest highlight is its ability to cool down hot tea, coffee, and other liquids.
Named ‘Nékojita FuFu’, this cute gadget operates using an internal fan. Also, it features multiple breathing modes based on its intensity. Just like the device’s pretty look, the modes have been given catchy names too. This tiny cat fan claiming to cool down liquid comes with several blowing modes—I’ve Got This, Not Gonna Spill, The Princess and Look At That. Imagine a tiny gadget attached to your plate or cup blowing air so that you can relish drinks in warm and comfortable temperatures. Seems compelling and worth trying at least once, correct?
Though we dreamt of getting flying cars, immense advancements, and many technological surprises in different sectors by 2025, the reality features a cutesy portable gadget perched on cups waiting to cool down hot liquids using various blowing modes. Launching in the market soon, each Nékojita FuFu costs $25. Will you splurge ₹2,143 (approx.) on an unconventional device functioning to bring drinks’ temperature down?
Is It An Effective Gadget To Invest In?
$25 is not a pocket-friendly budget for a product whose functions are too limited; quite unnecessary in this scenario. The temperature of tea, coffee, soup, and other hot liquids can easily be brought down by leaving them for a few minutes. As shared by Designboom, Nékojita FuFu can cool down water from 88°C to 71°C in three minutes. On the other hand, the gadget takes five minutes to change the same cup of water’s temperature (88°C) to 66°C.
Netizens are sharing their views on this cute mini robot on social media. While people appreciate its design and minimalist, adorable looks, most users are confused about its actual uses in making our lives simpler.
Do you think it’s worth spending over ₹2,000?
