These Are Different Ways To Travel From Delhi To Ayodhya

The distance between Delhi and Ayodhya is about 670 km. To cover this distance, there are several modes of transportation starting from travelling on the road to catching a train to even air routes. Based on the travel budget and the overall time of the trip, tourists can choose their mode of transportation from the national capital to reach the holy town.

1. Travelling On Flights

The quickest mode of transportation is flight and you can board flights from two airlines and land directly at the Maharishi Valmiki International Airport in Ayodhya. As of now, only Air India Express is operating a flight on this route and IndiGo is running two flights. In comparison to other travel modes, air travel is indeed far more expensive.

2. Travelling By Trains

There are quite a few options for trains running between Delhi and Ayodhya. Depending on the budget and availability, travellers can book tickets.

3. Travelling By Buses

There are a few bus options when it comes to travelling to Ayodhya from Delhi. Travellers can catch buses on the UP Roadways either from the Anand Vihar bus stand or the Kaushambi bus stand purchasing tickets for ₹1,359 each. In addition to all these, there are also private bus options. Visitors can book tickets for private buses costing ₹1,800 each using the platforms of Paytm and Red Bus. To travel on these buses, passengers will need to be at the Kashmiri Gate and catch them.

4. Travelling By Cars

Tourists can even visit Ayodhya by travelling in their cars. There are proper routes connecting both cities. Calculating the fuel cost and all the toll taxes coming on the way, the journey will be quite expensive.
