With the start of the Liwa International Festival 2025, people are certainly excited to visit the fun-filled event. It’s happening at the tallest Dune in the UAE, which is the Tal Moreeb. And so, the Abu Dhabi Police has released its set of guidelines to ensure the safety of people is not compromised in any way. But before we dive into the guidelines, it’s important to know that these guidelines have been put in place so that residents can enjoy the Liwa International Festival without having to worry about anything.

- Visitors are not allowed to parade their cars or motorcycles in a dangerous way around the camp.
- When you’re climbing up or down the hill, you must ensure that the path is safe in order to prevent accidents, especially if you happen to be a motorsport enthusiast.
- No matter what kind of motorcycles you own, they are not allowed on paved roads. Riders must wear helmets for their own safety.
- Children who are under the age of 18 have to be accompanied by their parents or guardian when they ride a motorcycle.
- Unsupervised riding in designated areas is not allowed for children who are under the age of 18.
- There are regulations in place to prohibit disturbing sounds from vehicles or motorcycles, as there are often complaints of noise levels near the camps.
- Visitors are expected to follow traffic instructions, which include turning on their headlights, to the speed limits, and even wearing seat belts on all roads surrounding the festival grounds.
- Finally, aircraft, drones, and gliders are not allowed to be used without prior permission from the authorities.

For those who aren’t aware, the Liwa International Festival is an ongoing event that’s happening till January 4 in Al Dhafra. A premier winter tourism in Abu Dhabi, the entertainment destination features, fun-filled activities, motorsports, and other kinds of tournaments in the stunning desert. Not to mention, this so there are even some new experiences. Yes, these include something called a Hollywood Circus, which features acrobats, comedy, and even thrilling performances.
