Since the lines traverse bustling zones of Mumbai like Link Road and Western Express Highway, they are anticipated to get a footfall of around 4 lakh passengers. Also, travel time between various sections of the city will be reduced. The new lines also aim to control the issue of overcrowding.
MD of Mirachem Industries and Chairman of Ample Missiion, Aneel Murarka, took to his Twitter to honour PM Modi for the inauguration of the new lines. He also took a ride on the new route and stated that he had ‘first-class comfort’.
