Prime Minister Narendra Modi began his week by visiting the historical Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Tirumala on Monday morning. This temple is not just a renowned one in Tirumala or Andhra Pradesh but also all across India and the rest of the world. A huge number of devotees travel to the hill shrine every day.

Taking to Instagram, Narendra Modi shared some glimpses of his recent visit to Tirumala’s Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple. Dedicated to Lord Venkateswara, this religious place is one of Andhra Pradesh’s most prominent destinations to visit.

Modi Ji went to the temple at about 8 AM today. Taking to social media, he wrote how he “prayed for the good health, well-being, and prosperity of 140 crore Indians.” He reached the city in Andhra Pradesh on Sunday and embarked on this religious journey on Monday morning. YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, and S Abdul Nazeer, the Governor of Andhra Pradesh, were present at the Tirupati Airport to receive the Prime Minister.

Today’s visit to the temple in Andhra Pradesh marked the fourth time of his visit to the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Tirumala as the Prime Minister of India, according to a report by The Times of India. After Narendra Modi visited the main gate of this temple, he was greeted inside with the Isthikapal welcome. Some priests and officials were present to welcome the Prime Minister inside.

His morning at the temple was quite an extraordinary experience. After entering the temple, he visited the sanctum sanctorum, then worshipped, and prayed. While he was worshipping Lord Venkateswara this morning, a group of people including the chief priest was saying the Sthala Puranam. Praying in such a beautiful atmosphere is truly a magnificent religious experience.
