Jayanagar in Bengaluru is known for beautifully amalgamating tradition with modernity and we got to explore this part of the city with none other than Pranitha Subhash recently. A proud Bangalorean, she took us around some of her favourite eateries in the city and talked about balancing her career with motherhood, her love for desserts, and a lot more. Here’s how it all went down.
Exploring Bengaluru’s Jayanagar With South Actress Pranitha Subhash
In the latest episode of Tere Gully Mein, we explored Bengaluru’s Jayanagar with the gorgeous and talented South actress, Pranitha Subhash. One look at her, and you can hardly tell that she gave birth to a child about four months ago! While giving us a tour of her beloved city, Pranitha talked about her love for desserts, her favourite street foods, and a lot more.
She took us to some of her favourite eateries in the city. We first visited SLV and enjoyed rava idli, masala dosa, and filter coffee. Pranitha Subhash also mentioned that her go-to order while she is shooting for a film is a rava idli because it is filling and much healthier than dosa!
Our next stop was Hari Super Sandwich and tried out their special sandwich along with a masala sandwich and a chocolate sandwich. Of course when in Bengaluru, one has to stop by Corner House and try out their Death by Chocolate ice cream sundae, and we did exactly that!
We asked Pranitha what she loves about Bengaluru and she said it has to be the city’s food, vibe, and people. She then burst some myths that people around her have about the city. She clarified that not everyone in the city works in the IT sector and the city is quite welcoming to people, and of course, traffic is the only issue we will find in the city!

Talks About Balancing Career & Motherhood
A mother of two, Pranitha Subhash is balancing all the roles in her life like a pro. While she acknowledges that after becoming a mother, her career has taken a backseat, she is enjoying her role as a mother. “Being a mom is like my favourite, favourite job,” she said with a big smile.
“Nature has its way, your brain itself slows down. You don’t really want to be so ambitious. I have warmed up to the idea of doing what I am doing now, I am not in a race anymore. I look forward to going home and playing with my kids,” she further added.
