The Maha Kumbh Mela 2025 has been the talk of the town even before it started. It is an event that draws millions of devotees. This year the Maha Kumbh Mela is being held in Prayagraj and obviously, it has turned the railway junction into a sea of people. This 45-day-long religious gathering is attended by devotees from all around the world. Three days into this festival, the railway station in the city has become immensely crowded. Naturally, the intensity of the crowd needs to be managed in a systematic manner.

Crowds Surge At Prayagraj Railway Station

To maintain order and ensure smooth transportation for every devotee, the authorities have planned in advance. The local police, particularly, are doing everything they can to control the flow of the people. The police are guiding all travellers to the holding areas before taking them to their respective platforms. While handling such a massive crowd, safety is undoubtedly paramount, and the authorities are coordinating well to maintain the situation.

Over 26,000 passengers are being taken care of as they wait for their trains, as per the reports from Kalinga TV. The passengers waiting are being served with meals, water, and tea so that they remain hydrated and nourished. Currently, the Indian railways are operating thousands of trains, including t3,000 special trains, to conduct the travel to and from Prayagraj for the Maha Kumbh Mela 2025 as efficiently as possible.

Mahakumbh 2025 Draws Millions To Prayagraj

The first two days of the Maha Kumbh Mela hosted more than 50 million devotees for the holy dip. We can only imagine the electrifying atmosphere in Prayagraj as people from around the world come together for a religious celebration.

The Uttar Pradesh government has also backed the management of this grand event significantly. According to Kalinga TV reports, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed his gratitude towards everyone who has a hand in organising this event and making sure it turns out successfully. From the police to the sanitation workers, the effort and the collaboration amongst all the authorities is simply monumental. 

In fact, water ambulances have also been deployed to make sure the devotees remain safe during the holy dips. The Maha Kumbh Mela 2025 is expected to host 50 million people before it ends and the police and other authorities are working tirelessly to make sure this event remains sacred and safe for everyone.
