Priyanka Chopra Jonas Parts Ways With Her New York Restaurant SONA
According to People, a representative from SONA stated that Priyanka has stepped away from her partnership at the restaurant. However, its co-founder Maneesh K. Goyal will continue to handle the affairs of the fine-dining space. The representative said in a statement that Maneesh and Priyanka were the creative force behind SONA. And they are grateful for her partnership and support.
The representative goes on to add that the Citadel actress will not be involved as a creative partner moving forward but she remains in the SONA family and they are excited for their new chapters ahead. Also, bringing SONA to life will continue to be special and proud moment in Priyanka’s career. So, stepping away from this will allow the actor to broaden her ambitions on a global scale, so she is excited about the possibilities that lie ahead for her.
SONA interestingly is named by Priyanka Chopra’s singer-songwriter-actor, hubby Nick Jonas. A fine-dining space known for modernising Indian dishes yet encapsulating its heart has tantalised the taste buds of several celebrities like Anupam Kher, Mindy Kaling, Katrina Kaif and Vishal Bhardwaj to name a few.
