Recently Allu Arjun was in New York, where he represented India at one of the prestigious annual events organized by the Indian diaspora in the US, the ‘India Day Parade’. Allu took to Instagram on Monday to share glimpses from the event. The superstar was joined by his beautiful wife Sneha Reddy at the parade, where Allu Arjun was honored with the title of grand marshal by NYC Mayor Eric Adams.

Allu Arjun receiving the title of Grand Marshal at New York during the annual event of India Day Parade is a proud moment for India and the Indian film industry. The actor shared his joy of the same with a post on Instagram that had pictures from his visit. He wrote, “It was a pleasure meeting the Mayor of New York City. Very Sportive Gentleman. Thank You for the Honours Mr. Eric Adams. Thaggede Le ! @ericadamsfornyc.” The pictures reveal Allu Arjun was being awarded a certificate as he stood next to NYC Mayor and other dignitaries. More About The India Day Parade 2022
The India Day parade 2022 was held on Sunday, 21 August In New York City. Considered one of the world’s biggest Indian events outside the country, the India Day Parade is organized by the Federation of Indian Associations (FIA) tri-state area unit annually. During the India Day Parade, floats and Indian flags roll down Madison Avenue, from 26th to 23rd streets. The whole area is filled with food stands and cultural programs that are mostly set up adjacent to Madison Square Park. The parade steps off at noon, and all festivities end by 6 pm. This year the organizers called Superstar Allu Arjun to lead the event. The Pushpa star was greeted by more than 150,000 fans who turned up on the Madison Avenue route on the day of the parade. Totally a sight to behold, must say!
