Madhavan’s Favourite Food Spots In India
Actor R. Madhavan is very particular about what he eats and when he eats. He revealed to us that he only eats when he is hungry. This mindful eating habit has done wonders for him! This is unlike the standard eating habit of breakfast, lunch or dinner at a stipulated time.
We are always on the lookout for good food recommendations and if our guest is a foodie, then it’s icing on the cake! We wanted to learn some of foodie Madhavan’s favourite eateries in India. He told us about a pocket-friendly Vada Pav eatery, Sham Vada in Kolhapur. Madhavan said, “The vada pav has a completely different flavour, character, taste, everything!” Vada pav lovers, take notes!
Madhavan moved on to Coimbatore where he talked about an eatery called Kovai Parotta Kadai. They are famous for selling parotta along with a vegetarian and a non-vegetarian dish. It is a delightful combo because the actor stated, “You could just spend the rest of your life eating that!” We will surely try it out next time!

He Believes That The Body Indicates Its Needs
Madhavan noticed a couple of changes after modifying his eating habits to just satiate his hunger. One of the major changes he came across was his body’s craving for certain food items. He shared with us that his body craved coconut water or tomato juice on certain days which might be an indication of a need for certain nutrients and vitamins.
He believes that when you suddenly want to consume something, it is your body’s way of telling the brain that it needs that certain nutritional value. Mind you, he didn’t mean this for unhealthy fast food options, so refrain from binge eating chocolates, pizza and more in large quantities.
