Actor Rajat Kapoor may be known for his serious roles on screen, but he was all smiles and jaunty while laughing the day away with our anchor! The talented actor and filmmaker joined our anchor, Tonakshi Kalra, to gorge on a feast of Kachoris, Bedmi Aloos, and Rabdi Kulfi for an episode of Tere Gully Mein. Being hardcore foodies and ardent Delhiites, the duo delved into their love for Chandni Chowk’s street food while discussing his awards, movies, and friendships in the industry. Of course, talkative Tonakshi quizzed Rajat Kapoor about his life’s sweetest moments both on and off screen! Scroll down to find out his answer!
Rajat Kapoor Fondly Remembers The Premiers Of His Life’s Sweetest Moments
Rajat Kapoor is best known for his roles in Scam 1992, Bheja Fry, Kapoor and Sons, Drishyam and Ankhon Dekhi. These very movies have made him the cult classic superstar in the minds of his audience. So, it comes as no surprise that the sweetest moment of his life had to do with two of his biggest hits.
When our anchor asked the actor to describe his life’s sweetest moments, he answered without missing a beat, “Every time I get money to make a film, I feel very grateful. The premier of both Ankhon Dekhi and Bheja Fry which became superhits was a too good to be true moment in my life.”
Just like Tonakshi, we are in awe of the actor’s appreciation and deep love for his movies. Clearly, we could take a page or two on budgeting, as the actor’s honest struggles with securing funds for a film seem incredibly challenging!
