Rajat Kapoor Wishes To Explore More Comedy Movies

After devouring a stomach-filling meal at the Parawthe Wali shop, Rajat Kapoor and Tonakshi set out to shed those heavy calories while navigating the vibrant streets of Chandni Chowk. The Delhiite’s continued their conversation on movies, friendships and their love for Bedmi Aloo of course!

Being the cheeky personality that she is, Tonakshi couldn’t resist poking fun at Rajat’s serious on-screen persona. She playfully asked if anyone’s ever mentioned his intimidating character look on screen. Without missing a beat, the real-life funny man shot back with a playful grin, “Why do people think that way, I’m sorry about that!” But hey, someone’s got to keep the guilt tripping alive!

Not done with her playful line of questioning Tonakshi asks whether his strict looks are the reason he chooses serious roles. “No yaar, I would love to do more comedy. The roles I get usually depend on how the people perceive me.” answers Rajat before asking, “Now you tell me that I look serious, What can I do about this?”

While reflecting on the actor’s many famous friends in the industry, Tonakshi asked if his friends had any role to play in changing the ‘serious’ atmosphere of the set. “Seriousness is a part of the shot, and it is hardly one or two minutes, you have the rest 24 hours to yourself!” says Rajat delivering a befitting reply. 

From Sudhir Mishra to Arbaaz Khan and E. Niwas Rajat Kapoor was on a roll, proudly flaunting his impressive connections in the industry! He not only showered laurels on the talented directors he’s collaborated with true to his gentlemanly nature, generously credited his amazing team.
