Ram Temple In Ayodhya To Boost Tourism; Foreign Investors Keen To Open Resorts

Uttar Pradesh is presently experiencing a lot of upliftment in the tourism sector. Starting from the construction of Ram Temple to getting an international airport at Prayagraj, the state is developing at a fast pace to match up with the other metro cities in the country. Aside from these, a new development that awaits the temple town of Uttar Pradesh, Ayodhya, is the opening of resorts. The city might soon welcome luxurious resorts for its visitors. Investors worldwide, are now eyeing the town to set up resorts.

Ayodhya To Open Resorts?

According to a report by The Indian Express, Ayodhya might soon house resorts. Investors from various countries visited the temple town to identify spots where resorts could be constructed. These foreign investors visited the sites along with authorities of the UP Tourism department. They visited Ayodhya to gauge spaces for a variety of projects. The group comprised around 11-12 members who went ahead and checked areas near Ayodhya to establish the resorts.

Investors From 6 Countries Visit Ayodhya

The investors who visited Ayodhya belonged to the USA, Japan, the Republic Of Korea, Guyana, Vietnam, California, Peru and Ecuador. They overviewed sites near Lucknow’s Gorakhpur Highway that passes through Ayodhya. Followed by the government site near the newly built Korean monument. Lastly, the Manjha Barhatha area that was initially acquired to set up a statue of Lord Rama and an area in Shahnawazpur, was identified.

The UP Tourism authorities, as per The Indian Express report said that these investors were looking at establishing projects like theme parks, resorts, wellness centres, media centres, restaurants and more. With investors from other countries arriving in Uttar Pradesh, there is a great chance of tourism surpassing new heights within the state. Aside from these areas in Ayodhya, the delegation had also seen other sites in different cities of the state.
