Amid the coronavirus pandemic, actor Randeep Hooda took part in a clean-up drive at Mumbai’s Versova Beach. The actor followed necessary precautions like wearing masks and gloves along with following social distancing measures. He posted a few pictures on social media on July 5 in which he could be seen cleaning the beach. In his effort, Randeep Hooda also encouraged others to come forward and do their bit to clean the environment. What can we say, some heroes just don’t wear capes! And during this pandemic, we were fortunate to witness heroes rising to the occasion to help the underprivileged.
Randeep Hooda Took Up In A Clean-Up Drive At The Versova Beach
Actor Randeep Hooda, known for his notable roles in Extraction, Sarabjit and countless others had taken part in a clean-up drive at Versova Beach. Randeep also posted a few pictures on social media, where he was following the necessary precautionary measures while cleaning the beach with the renowned lawyer, Afroz Shah. He also earlier cleaned up Mithi river.
Randeep Hooda captioned the post on July 5 saying: “This is the backyard of humanity and it”s not pretty..being a #Safaikarmachari (cleaning worker) with the inspirational @afrozshah_ to clean my backyard, helping the tireless @my_bmc #frontlineworkers in the #MumbaiRainsmaintaining #SocialDistancing” Not only this, but he also urged everyone to do their bit for nature. He added, ” #masks let’s start respecting #MotherNature what is your backyard? Have you seen it lately? Let”s do our bit wherever we are.”

Randeep Hooda Took Part In Various Other Noble Causes Over The Years
This is not the first time that the actor is stepping up for a cause, in September 2010, Randeep Hooda along with Jackky Bhagnani appeared in a charity fashion show for Khushi, Kapil Dev’s NGO to improve poor communities in India. Also, in the same year, he helped raise public awareness of chronic hunger in India. He presented a video to the cast and crew of Jism 2, who shared it on their social media accounts.

Then in December 2012, he took part in an anti-suicide initiative with Imtiaz Ali, Rahul Bose, Mahesh Bhupati, and Nishikant Kamath. Speaking to the media, Hooda revealed that he had failed Class 12 and said, “Don’t accept defeat. Fight back adversities. Failure is a myth. Every experience is a just fodder for the future. Suicide doesn’t solve the problem, It ends you.” Well, we laud Randeep Hooda for stepping out despite the lockdown to clean the Versova Beach in Mumbai. It’s indeed an inspiration for us to do our bit for the environment.
