On the recent episode of Tere Gully Mein, Randeep Hooda met with our anchor, Arohi Thatte, and explored the food places of Juhu. it is very easy to say that he is from Harayan, his accent gives it away and sometimes, funnily he will act like a Haryanvi as well. It comes to him naturally. Then again he thinks that the partition of Punjab and Haryana happened based on singing and manners. We would like to pose this as an open question to all, which aspect is for which state?
Randeep Hooda Jokingly Said This Thing About The Partition Of Haryana & Punjab
Randeep Hooda, a proper Jat, jokingly talked about the division of states of Haryana and Punjab. Right as we got into Juhu’s Punjab Da Chulah and were waiting to order food, he began to hum a little and sing. We think he was being cheeky and sang the words to “Teri gully mein”. But instantly we asked him if he was a good singer and he responded that he was actually a very bad singer.
Randeep Hooda went on to say that singing was not really in his culture. He took a tiny pause and realised they were at Punjab Da Chulah. That’s when the topic of Punjab and Haryana came up. He claimed that he believed mannerisms and music were the two crucial themes that divided these states. Arohi couldn’t help but laugh out loud at this thought of his. Not gonna lie, we chuckled a little.

Arohi continued by asking him which aspect he has, the music or the manners. He laughed and answered that he sadly doesn’t have either of these aspects. For now, we are content with Randeep Hooda being an actor because everyone is a bathroom singer; we think even singers do that.
Our Munda Is From Delhi Public School, R.K. Puram
We did some digging on Randeep Hooda and got to know that his entire family is well-educated with degrees. So we asked him how easy it was for him to pursue acting in a family of engineers and if he was forced to complete his degree. To which he replied, “Maine bhi kiya hai (course and degree). Main bhi unpadh thodi hi hoon.” (I have also completed my degree. I am not uneducated.) This statement made both Randeep and Arohi burst out laughing. Arohi went on to clarify that she didn’t mean it like that.
Coming back to the topic, he said he was moved from a sports school to a very studious school. It was the Delhi Public School, R.K. Puram. Alumni of Delhi Public School, R.K. Puram make some noise, you have got another great one from your lot. He then went on to tell us that he made his parents sit down and explain how it was acting that was his passion. His place was not on a computer behind the desk but in front of the camera. We are extremely glad it went that way!
