Is dining out becoming an expensive affair? Forget visiting aesthetic cafes or fine-dining restaurants, many foodies believe that the experience of eating out at a well-known restaurant is getting costlier these days. With prices of different items skyrocketing, this is not an entirely incorrect observation. Recently, a Redditor highlighted how KFC served two different-sized chicken leg pieces. From the dish’s name to its price, all information about this order has been added.

According to the Reddit post, the OP visited their nearest KFC store and ordered a couple of food items. One of the orders was for two pieces of Smokey Red COB costing ₹149. They also ordered a large Popcorn Chicken for ₹170 and an Ultimate Savings Bucket for ₹570. The Redditor was surprised and quite baffled to receive the order. But why?
Well, the chicken leg pieces used to cook Smokey Red COB were of two different sizes. Many of us have seen chicken sizes being a little dissimilar and it is acceptable. However, a contrast like this is not seen often, especially when served by a reputed brand like KFC. The OP added, “This is what I got… I laughed so hard when I saw this.” Calling it “1.5 pieces max”, they stated that they are thinking of raising a complaint to KFC.
The total amount (before tax) at KFC was ₹888.99. Including an SGST of 2.5 per cent and CGST of 2.5 per cent, the overall bill amount was ₹933.44.

What Do Netizens Think Of The Order?
Redditors share their opinions about KFC and thoughts on the differently-sized chicken leg pieces in the comment section of the post. While many make hilarious jokes and puns about the dissimilarities in both pieces, some guess that the smaller leg piece was of regular size, and KFC gave the bigger one as a second piece. A few Netizens even blame inflation for overpriced prices. Let’s take a look at some funny reactions.
