Republic Day 2025: Delhiites, Avoid THESE Routes On These January Dates As Traffic Police Issues Advisory For Parade Rehearsals

Republic Day is celebrated with pomp and glory in Delhi. The entire country awaits to see the iconic parade and events on this special day. Ahead of celebrations on January 26, 2025, Delhi traffic police released an advisory for smoothly continuing parade rehearsals. Continue reading to know all about the instructions.

Delhi Traffic Police Issued Advisory For Republic Day Parade Rehearsals

Traffic Advisory

Special traffic arrangements have been made on 17th, 18th, 20th and 21st January in order to facilitate the uninterrupted movement of Parade on Kartavyapath.

The traffic police department made special arrangements for traffic movement due to the ongoing parade rehearsals for Republic Day. The specified restrictions and instructions are for uninterrupted rehearsals on Kartavyapath. Delhiites must adhere to the guidelines on January 17, 18, 20, and 21.

According to the advisory, traffic restrictions will be imposed on these areas from 10:15 AM to 12:30 PM:

• Kartavyapath – Rafi Marg crossing
• Kartavya Path – Janpath crossing
• Kartavya Path – Mansingh Road crossing
• Kartavya Path – C – Hexagon crossing

To travel between North Delhi and South Delhi:

• Ring Road – Sarai Kale Khan – IP Flyover – Rajghat
• Lajpat Rai Marg – Mathura Road – Bhairon Road – Ring Road
• Aurobindo Marg – Safdarjung Road – Kamal Ataturk Marg – Kautilya Marg – Sardar Patel Marg – Mother Teresa Crescent – RML – Baba Kharak Singh Marg
• Prithvi Raj Road – Rajesh Pilot Marg – Ring Road – Subramaniam Bharti Marg – Mathura Road – Bhairon Road
