Besides being the financial capital of India, Mumbai is an iconic city that houses several historic landmarks. It is one of the many cities that attract tourists from all over the world. They can spend their day exploring the city’s colonial past, beaches and visit other sites. Recently, the Japanese Ambassador to India and Bhutan, Hiroshi Suzuki, shared pics of him exploring Mumbai! Hiroshi Suzuki, the Japanese ambassador to India, was spotted on Thursday exploring Mumbai. And just like a true Mumbaikar, he was seen riding the local train! He even clicked a pic of him standing at the door of the local train. This was shared on Twitter with a caption that stated he was in Mumbai.

There was another pic that showed him in a local market checking out a shirt with a ‘₹100’ price tag. He even asked whether he should buy the shirt or not. Seems like he had a fun time at the Subway market at CSMT. Well, it is a good bargain, so we think he should just buy the shirt, right?
He met with Eric Garcetti, the US ambassador to India, in April of this year to discuss future bilateral collaboration with India, as well as the Quad and G20.

Mumbai Is A Popular Tourist Destination
Now, the Japanese Ambassador isn’t the only one known for exploring Mumbai. Several notable celebrities were spotted in Mumbai doing all kinds of tourist stuff. One of them is Robert Hoffman, popularly known as Chase from Step Up 2: The Streets, who came to India for a two-day visit.
Elizabeth Hurley, a socialite and actress from the UK, was seen in Mumbai. The actress was present at Armaan Jain and Anissa Malhotra’s wedding. In November 2019, Katy Perry visited Mumbai and enjoyed her time with prominent members of the Bollywood industry. Karan Johar had organised a spectacular party in celebration of the American pop artist while Jacqueline Fernandez was spotted hanging out with her.

In December 2019, DJ Alan Walker visited Mumbai for a performance. He even stated that he loved the vibe of the city and loved exploring street food in Bandra.
