1. Riyadh-Delhi Air India Flight Diverted To Jaipur

Due to bad weather in Delhi, the Delhi-bound flight from Riyadh was diverted to Jaipur. This Air India flight then landed in Jaipur. Although passengers were given an alternative flight option to Delhi, they chose to travel via road.

2. 99.7% Residents Feel Safe In Sharjah

Almost 100 per cent of the residents in Sharjah feel safe because of the strong leadership. Not to mention, due to the police work as well, there is faith in the authorities among the people. With the development of police readiness and the enhancement of long-term security efforts, there is stronger public safety.

3. RTA To Launch Pilot Trials For Autonomous Vehicles

Dubai RTA has signed an MoU with Pony.ai. This is for the launch of autonomous vehicle pilot trials, and the plan is to go driverless by 2026. With this, the aim is to convert 25% of all trips into driverless journeys by 2030.

4. Izki-Nizwa Dual Carriageway Road Project Work Starts

The Ministry of Transport, Communication and Information Technology has begun work on this important road project. Spanning 32.2 km, it includes several roundabouts, a vehicle underpass, and traffic signals for a better traffic flow.

5. Saudi Arabia Opens Registration For Bocuse d’Or & Pastry World Cup

Saudi Arabian chefs can now register for the two prestigious culinary competitions. It is expected to take place during the Sirha Arabia exhibition, which is expected to take place in October in Riyadh.
