After leaving crowds giddy with stellar performances and zones, Riyadh Season is returning for its 2024 edition. Yes, it will be starting on October 12 and the announcement was made during a press conference that was held in Via Riyadh. His Excellency Turki Alalshikh made announcements revealing details about one of the season’s zones and all the championship exhibitions and festivals that will be taking place. Here’s what he revealed to the people!

During the press conference held at Via Riyadh, it was revealed that 14 entertainment zones will be gracing Riyadh Season 2024. Besides this, 11 world championships and 10 exhibitions and festivals will be happening. As it happens, it will be covering an area of more than 7,200,000 m² and 4,200 contracts have already been signed. In fact, the Kingdom Arena Zone has been expanded by over 40%.

As a result, the capacity has increased to more than 27,000 spectators and this venue will be hosting four world championships. So, you can expect a light heavyweight world title match in boxing at the ‘IV Crown Showdown’ and even a surprise music performance during the event by a global superstar that’s going to be happening during the Russian Artur Beterbiev and Dimitry Bivol face-off.
