Nalukettu is a traditional Keralian architectural style, which refers to four blocks. The blocks face four directions-north, south, east and west. It is a combination of carpentry science and Vastu Shastra. Nalukettu homes are spacious enough to accommodate joint families.

The villa up for sale is in the Mararikulam village of Kerala and dates back to 1829. It has witnessed two centuries of history and culture. Reportedly, the Maharaja of Travancore, His Highness Swathi Thirunal Rama Varma had commissioned the villa to be built in Kollengode ( present-day Tamil Nadu).
