During the veteran cricketer’s recent interaction with the Indian Air Force members, he met CAS Air Chief Marshal Vivek Ram Chaudhari. He took to social media platforms to share photos of their meet.

The veteran cricketer shared how he had an amazing time meeting the team. “It was wonderful to spend time with CAS Air Chief Marshal Vivek Ram Chaudhari and the dedicated personnel of the IAF”, shared Sachin Tendulkar.

It has been over a decade since he became a part of the Indian Air Force. Interestingly, he is the first-ever sportsperson to be conferred with the honorary rank of Group Captain. Not only that, but he is also the first person to get this incredible recognition in the Indian Air Force without holding any aviation background. It makes us proud to see him contributing to our country to the best in so many different ways. During his cricketing career, he made several unbreakable records and established India as one of the strongest and most influential teams. His contribution is evident even after so many years of his retirement. And with the Indian Air Force, he has become a major representation and the face of the IAF for the young generation.

Back in the year 2014, Sachin Tendulkar also attended the Air Force Day parade and its celebrations. He joined the functions in Uttar Pradesh as a Group Captain. He also wore the prestigious uniform of the Indian Air Force during the parade.
