Sadhguru’s Parents Wanted Him To Become A Doctor
Sadhguru’s father was a doctor and like any other parent, he too wished his kids to pursue this career. He has 3 siblings and he is the youngest of all. His father had dreams to see at least one of his kids become a doctor and hence he even kept many textbooks and thousands of pages of notes to pass on to his children. But no one did not want really to choose this professional direction in their lives.

When Sadhguru was about 10 years of age, he made it very clear that he does not want to become a doctor. He never knew what he wanted to do with his life but he was sure that becoming a doctor was not his preference.
He Shared His Stories From The Days At Mysore University
Sadhguru was a good student and cracked his exams to get admission into a university. Though he passed the test, he chose to educate himself instead of pursuing any degree in any university. Since then, he spent a huge amount of time the next year at Mysore University. The gates of the university library opened at 9 am and he used to be there on time to spend the whole day. His routine was to eat a full big breakfast and then sit there for hours till 8 in the evening just to read, study, and educate himself. He read everything from comic books to home earth, literature, poetry, popular mechanics, and more.
