Sunday Brunch episodes frequently focus on food in some way, including favourite dishes, flavours, and more. The practicality of what we eat superseded the taste of the meal in this episode, which was undoubtedly unique. On this edition of Sunday Brunch, our Editor-in-Chief Kamiya Jani visited the Isha Yoga Center in Coimbatore, took a tour of the facility, and met Sadhguru. Their talk was fascinating, covering everything from how he started his day to his life in Coimbatore.

Sadhguru Was Asked To Choose Between Masala Dosa And Idli
Of course, after discussing his childhood, his love for travelling, and some major moments in his life, it was time to have some fun. He was asked to participate in a game where he had to choose one of the two options given. The first set of options included Masala Dosa and Idli Sambar.
In his answer, he asked Kamiya if she is Maharashtrian. Once she replied that she is Sindhi, he went on to explain that as you travel from north to south, the taste and texture of dosas and idlis keep changing. Sadhguru doesn’t relate to what we know about dosa and idli.
He jokingly added that the soft idlis in the south turn into bouncing balls once they reach Delhi. Even the dosas that are supposed to melt in the mouth become chewy like chapatis. To sum up his choice, he answered, it depends on who makes them and how.

He Is A Text Person And Not A Call Person
The game turned more fun as they moved forward. Next, he was asked to choose between tea and coffee to start his day and he chose coffee. When asked to choose between Coimbatore, the place he settled down in or Mysore, his birthplace, he said, Coimbatore is where he chose to stay but Mysore is the place to go. We get that feeling, don’t we?
The next question intrigued us quite a bit. Sadhguru was asked if he was a text person or a call person. In his answer, he mentioned that most of his work gets done over texts. Even though he doesn’t know the number of texts he engages in per day, he agrees that it’s a lot. He also shared that he once attended 210 calls in a day. That’s a lot, isn’t it?
