It was quite recently when the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia opened its doors to tourists. Ever since then, people have been visiting the country for its warm hospitality and wondrous sites. Not to mention, besides the normal visa, one can also apply for an E-visa for Saudi Arabia provided, they are eligible for the same. And recently, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia expanded its tourist E-visa programme to a few more nations. Saudi Arabia Expands Tourist E-Visa To More Nations

In a recent development by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, it was revealed that now a few more nations will be able to apply for an E-visa to this country. Yes, this announcement was made by the Ministry of Tourism on Tuesday, which was also re-iterated by the official website of Visit Saudi on X (formerly Twitter). Coming to the six nations, now the countries of Turkiye, Thailand, Panama, Seychelles, Mauritius, and St Kitts and Nevis will be able to apply for an E-visa to the kingdom. So, basically what this means is that people from these countries can either request a tourist visa online or even upon arrival at one of the international airports in the kingdom.

What Is The Benefit Of This Visa?

For those who aren’t aware, holders of tourist visas can perform Umrah outside of the Hajj season. Not to mention, they can, of course, visit their friends and also grant multiple entries. Not to mention, it allows tourists to stay in the country for up to 90 days at a time.

Applying for an E-visa in Saudi Arabia is fairly simple! It takes barely 15 minutes to fill up the application as it requires one to fill out all the basic information, which includes full name, nationality, and even date of birth. After this, one has to select the type of E-visa and processing time that they are looking for. Once done, they can make the payment for their application and once the same is approved, they will get their E-visa through an email. Finally, one should take out a printout of their E-visa and keep it close during their visit.
