Saudi Arabia Has Unveiled Umrah Season Calendar & Here Are All The Dates You Need To Note Down!

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has officially announced the dates for the new Umrah season, and it’s time to mark your calendars if a spiritual trip is on the cards. The Islamic year 1447 and the Gregorian year 2025-2026 will see a streamlined and digitally enhanced experience for international pilgrims. The early birds can start performing Umrah from 11 June 2025.

New Umrah Season Calendar Announced: Here’s What International Pilgrims Need To Know

The official start for the Umrah performance is 11 June 2025. However, visa issuance will open one day earlier, on 10 June 2025 (14 Dhul Hijjah 1446), giving pilgrims a head start to finalise travel formalities.

If you’re a travel agent or managing a group, the pressure is on; service agreements between Umrah companies and overseas agents must be wrapped up by 27 May 2025 (29 Dhul Qadah 1446). These deadlines ensure everything runs like clockwork, from accommodation to transport, before the spiritual crowd starts to pour in.

But wait, there’s more. If you plan to book late or stretch your travel plans beyond Ramadan, take note:

• The last date to issue Umrah visas is 20 March 2026 (1 Shawwal 1447).
• The final entry deadline into the Kingdom is 3 April 2026 (15 Shawwal 1447).
• And everyone must exit by 18 April 2026 (1 Dhul Qadah 1447). No overstaying, folks.
