A theme park during the day and a music festival at night? Riyadh is apparently doing both at once now. Six Flags Qiddiya City is launching its first-ever Bloomfest Music Festival this weekend, turning the massive entertainment destination into a full concert venue packed with DJs, rides and late-night crowds. And yes, people will still be able to jump between rollercoasters and live sets in the same evening. The festival starts on Thursday, May 14, and runs until Saturday, June 13.

For many people, the biggest draw will probably be the mix of music and rides together. One minute you’re standing in a crowd during a DJ set, the next you’re running towards a giant coaster before the queue gets ridiculous.
Bloomfest is happening across both Six Flags Qiddiya City and Aquarabia, so ticket holders can access the parks as part of the experience. That part matters because regular park tickets will not get people into the concerts. Only festival passes work for the live performances.
Also, timings stretch pretty late. Park gates open from 4pm while concerts begin from 7pm onwards, which honestly makes sense considering Riyadh evenings are easier to handle than daytime heat.
The First Weekend’s Line-Up Already Looks Busy
The opening weekend has a strong EDM-heavy line-up. Thursday kicks off with Robin Schulz, Blacky and Lucas & Steve. Then Friday brings Lavern, Cosmicat and Oliver Heldens to the stage.
Saturday probably leans hardest into big festival energy, though. R3HAB, Sam Feldt and Sharkk are all scheduled for the final night of the opening weekend.
That said, this feels less like a formal concert series and more like one giant entertainment mash-up. Families, music fans and theme park people are all sort of blending into the same space here.

Tickets Are Not Cheap, But They Cover A Lot
General admission starts at SAR395, while VIP golden circle tickets cost SAR595. There’s also a VVIP option for groups of up to five people priced at SAR2,000.
Tickets are already available online through WeBook. And honestly, if people are planning to go during opening weekend, booking early is probably smarter because the combination of international DJs and a new festival setup will likely pull big crowds.
For Riyadh, this also adds another major live entertainment event to a city that’s been adding concerts, festivals and large-scale attractions at a pretty fast pace lately.
And doing all of it inside a theme park somehow makes it feel even louder.
