Saudi Arabia Announces Launch Of SEVEN AlHamra, A 14-Project Entertainment Destination

After the headline-grabbing launch of Six Flags Qiddiya, the capital is gearing up for its next big crowd-puller: SEVEN AlHamra, a massive indoor entertainment destination opening mid-2026. And no, before anyone asks, this is not a theme park.

SEVEN AlHamra Riyadh: Inside Saudi Arabia’s Next Mega Entertainment Destination Opening in 2026

Developed by Saudi Entertainment Ventures, SEVEN AlHamra is one of 14 large-scale entertainment projects planned across the Kingdom. Air-conditioned fun that works year-round.

A 168,000-Square-Metre Playground in East Riyadh

SEVEN AlHamra will span 168,000 square metres, packed with 10 entertainment zones designed for different ages, energy levels, and attention spans. It’s built for families, teens, and tourists, as mentioned on the official website.

Each zone runs independently, so you don’t commit to a full-day park ticket. Just pop in and try something new every time.

Transformers, But Make It Real

Transformers Experience is the hero of the project. This one leans hard into immersion, with advanced rides, themed spaces, exclusive merchandise, and food venues inspired by the franchise. It’s loud, fast, and unapologetically cinematic..

Big Views, Indoors

Yes, Riyadh is getting an indoor Ferris wheel. Rising 22 metres high, the panoramic ride offers full 360-degree views in climate-controlled comfort.

Learning Meets Play With Warner Bros. Discovery

One of the smartest additions is Discovery Adventures, developed in partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery. This 3,000-square-metre edutainment park mixes interactive fun with educational content, making it a rare attraction for parents and kids to enjoy together.

Surf, Climb, Fly, Repeat

SEVEN AlHamra leans heavily into action experiences. The indoor surf zone uses FlowRider technology to deliver wave action without the heat. Then there’s Clip ‘n Climb for colourful, fast-paced climbing challenges and indoor skydiving inside a 12-metre-high wind tunnel that caters to beginners and thrill-seekers alike.

Bowling, Karting, and Movie Nights Upgraded

Bowling here is all about tech-driven lanes, in-game avatars, and a curated food menu. Karting fans get the world’s first Formula E karting experience, tied to the electric racing series.

Film lovers can lounge in the premium cinema by AMC Cinemas, which promises a luxury viewing experience.

Rounding things off is a multi-purpose live venue equipped for concerts, shows, and large-scale events. SEVEN AlHamra isn’t trying to replace theme parks. It’s offering something smarter.
