The term Gerbou is an Arabic phrase meaning “welcome to my humble abode”. It encapsulates the restaurant’s essence. The restaurant embarks on a mission to reimagine authentic Arabic cuisine with a contemporary twist. Gerbou, Dubai will find its home in a thoughtfully renovated structure dating back to 1987. The interiors are crafted by the creative minds at Kristina Zanic Design Consultants and Tashkeel. It comes along with designers hailing from the Tanween by Tashkeel mentorship program. Hence, it promises a harmonious blend of tradition and innovation.

The dining space will seamlessly merge indoor and outdoor seating, with the terrace shaded by indigenous Ghaf trees. It’s inspired by the vibrant colours and textures emblematic of Arab culture. The aesthetic transforms the location into a soulful, welcoming, experimental, and uplifting haven.
