Witnessing the glam and glory of the Mumbai sea link is always such a beautiful experience. Be it Mumbaikars driving here just to enjoy the views or tourists travelling here to experience the magnificence, the Bandra Worli Sea Link is an iconic place to add to everyone’s Mumbai itinerary. Ashneer Grover is in Mumbai at the moment. He took to Twitter when he noticed that the lights on the cables of the Mumbai Sea Link were not switched on last night.
Ashneer Grover Appealed To Switch On The Lights Of The Mumbai Sea Link!
The former Shark Tank judge is clearly mesmerised by the beauty of the iconic sea link. While staying in Mumbai last night, he saw that the lights of the cables are kept off. Seeing this, Ashneer took to his Twitter account to ask who keeps these lights switched off every night. “Kaunse dadaji roz raat ko light off kar dete hai bijli ka bill bachane ke liye” (Who switches off the lights every night to save on the electricity bill?)’ asks Ashneer.
Bhai Mumbai sea link ke Cables pe light on karwa do koi. It’s such a beauty – kaunse dadaji har roz raat ko light off kar dete hai bijli ka bill bachane ke liye. Bay Bridge is SF comes alive in the night because of lighting only !! pic.twitter.com/sbkV9L7YQF

He also shared how the popular Bay Bridge in San Francisco comes alive at night because of the glorious lighting. Be it the Mumbai Sea link in India or the Bay Bridge in San Francisco, the magnificence of both is simply unimaginable. The humongous infrastructure, immaculate views, and the vibrant lights glittering all around are such breathtaking sights to witness, especially at night!
Netizens Also Agree With The Entrepreneur!
It seems like Ashneer is not the only one who is missing the beautiful lights and glamorous night views of the Sea Link. Tweeple also responded to his tweet and shared that they also want to see the lights glowing there at night. Views from here at night are simply extraordinary!

I couldn’t agree more! The Mumbai sea link looks breathtaking, and it’s a shame that it isn’t lit up at night. I bet it would look even more stunning with lights. Hopefully, someone takes note of your request soon!

Some Twitter users even pointed out the issue of light pollution in the tweet. They talked about how light pollution can be harmful to birds and animals.
Light pollution ka naam suna hain ? Never expect this from overrated iitians, waise bhi sare iitians overrated hi hain 🙄

I think it is a phenomenon called light pollution due to which birds and animals are highly affected.
Aur may save electricity global warming issues 😉

A Twitter user named विश्वासराव (@chetanvishwasr2) also shared how the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co. Ltd is turning street lights in many places as they are struggling to meet the demand with scarce supply.
@MSEDCL is struggling to meet the demand with scarse supply. They are even turning street lights and lights in govt parks, etc. around the city.
