In A Now Deleted Post Ashneer Grover Says, “Who Needs To Take Uber To The Moon? Address Cab Issues On Earth Instead”

With Shark Tank India Season 2 arriving on TV in January, fans of the entrepreneurial show have noticed the lack of the elephant in the room — former BharatPe co-founder Ashneer Grover. This season, Ashneer Grover will not be part of the show. But he surely continues doling lightning-bolt remarks on social media. Recently, the entrepreneur mocked Uber India in a deleted post, urging the cab aggregator firm to solve its cab cancellation issues instead of beating its own drums.

Ashneer Grover Mocks Uber India’s Post

Uber India President Prabhjeet Singh posted on LinkedIn proudly announcing that it covered 4.5 billion kilometres in India. The post further stated that this distance is equal to the distance between the earth and the edge of the solar system. On seeing his, Ashneer Grover mockingly asked about the need to even take an Uber to Milky Way or the moon, in the first place.

Asks Uber To Address Cab Cancellation Issues On Earth First

He further joked by asking what generation of PR folks the ride-hailing app has in the first place. The former BharatPe co-founder urged Uber to address the issues of cab cancellations and bad cab experiences that passengers have, head-on. Uber India President Prabhjeet Singh later deleted the LinkedIn Post. But Ashneer Grover tweeted a picture of it.

Later he also started a hilarious poll on Twitter asking Netizens how they’d like to travel to the Milky Way — with Elon Musk’s Space X, Uber Bhaiya (if he doesn’t cancel) or at least head to the airport. The verdict? 41 per cent of Netizens voted to at least be able to travel to the airport. Now isn’t that exactly what we need this holiday season?
