With the year bidding goodbye in less than a week, Uber released its annual report and the analysis shares all about how passengers availed of the services in 2022. The report states that Indians spent 11 billion minutes while travelling with Uber cab services. In 2022, Indians Travelled 11 Billion Minutes In Uber
The cab aggregator company shared in the analysis report that the cabs travelled 4.5 billion km in India this year. This is “the distance from Earth all the way to Neptune, the last planet in the solar system since Pluto got kicked out of the team”, shared Uber in its official statement. Most of these trips were taken in Uber Go, followed by Uber Auto.

This Is The Busiest Time To Book A Ride In 2022
Uber shared on its annual report that Indians booked rides in the most numbers from 5 pm to 6 pm. And Saturday saw the most number of bookings, making this day the most popular for booking a cab ride.

- Delhi-NCR booked the most number of Uber trips in 2022.
- Next on the list of the top cities with the most rides are Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mumbai, and Kolkata.
- With the highest number of bookings, Delhi-NCR also has the most office-hour trips. This reflects how many office-goers in the national capital and neighbouring places such as Faridabad, Ghaziabad, Gurgaon, and Noida are relying on the company’s cab services to return home.

The cab aggregator released a list of the top five Indian cities with intercity routes this year. The routes are ranked in the order below:
- Mumbai to Pune
- Mumbai to Nashik
- Delhi to Agra
- Jaipur to Chandigarh
- Lucknow to Kanpur
Another interesting analysis is how people sent gifts with Uber Connect, especially during the festive season. 22 October 2022 witnessed the most package deliveries on Uber Connect this year. It also shared its plans to launch in different parts of India.
